I had a serious overheating issue with my gaming pc and tried all the normal solutions like cleaning the fans, replacing thermal paste but had no luck. Took a rather beaten up MSI gaming laptop to Louis to have a look at as it wouldn't switch on. After a few days he advised that sadly it had multiple issues with the mainboard and it wouldn't be cost effective to repair it. As it's ready for scrap, there was no charge for the diagnosis. My laptop practically died on the Monday ( Blue Screen of Death ). I phoned Louis and explained to him the problem. He took it in that evening, turned out my Hard Drive was shot. Louis kept in contact updating me with the problems he found and answered any questions I had. After having data retrieval, windows reinstalled, a service and an replacement/upgrade of my Hard Drive from a HDD to a SSD, I had the laptop back in a few days. My son wanted to upgrade his gaming PC, we visited another company but didn't really get the service we were looking for as my son had researched what he wanted but we felt like they wanted to sell us something off the shelf rather than build to his requirements. Louis came on high recommendation from a friend whom with he has completed work for, Louis listened to my son took onboard his research and also offered other solutions and ideas so that the budget could be maximised and performance enhanced. Very efficient. Collected laptop and discussed my problem (corrupted Windows 7 - laptop not starting up at all). Went through options and requirements with me. Backed up and wiped files, loaded clean Windows 7. Patiently sat through hours worth of Windows updates overnight and much of the next day. The service was great, Louis was helpful, understanding and efficient. There was a delay (2 days) in getting the replacement screen but this was not Louis fault and he refunded a portion of the price paid for next day delivery. This worked out cheaper and better than either a high street repair company or trying to get the part myself from amazon and paying someone to fix it. If I have any more problems I will definitely be contacting Louis again.read more

After a solid month of attempting repairs myself and troubleshooting hardware/software I decided to leave a message on the We Fix PC website quite late (outside of their working hours). When I awoke the next morning I found a reply in my emails from the previous night! A bit of communication over the morning found Louis at my doorstep by midday and by five o'clock had fixed the issues with my computer and offered to upgrade some of my parts to make my computer even smoother!Cannot recommend this company enough; Louis is extremely genuine and a pleasure to work with, the work is at a reasonable price, and the fact my computer was ready to be delivered in a matter of hours leads me to believe that this is the best service in town!read more

After being told by another repair shop my laptop would only be good for parts and not worth repairing. I phoned we fix pc. I explained the situation and asked for a rough price, Louis was able to tell me the problem and how much he thought it would cost. My computer was fixed the same day for the agreed price. Louis showed me the part that was damaged and replaced and explained what he had done, he also done some other maintenance whilst he had the laptop open for no extra charge. Sounded out my PC problem with a couple of other local firms, one didn't bother replying, the other suggested a new PC. I finally contacted Louis who suggested a service should solve the problem and that he could do it that day. I dropped the PC round and later that day he said it was ready . He showed me phone pictures which clearly showed a build up of dust over the years had been the cause of my problem. It now runs just fine. Louis was friendly and professional through out.So my advice is don't waste time elsewhere try the best first .read more

Laptop RepairAfter countless calls to different shops in the area and many painfully expensive quotes later I came across Leedham Technologies, after a quick look at the reviews I called and spoke to Louis. After I explained the issue Louis quickly told me what the cause might be he then looked online for the parts I would need and gave me an estimate on the cost of the job... Which came in at £40 under the quote I had be given by a shop in The Mall!!I could continue writing for pages and pages but in order to keep this short I will bullet point the reasons I will be using and recommending to others Leedham Tech for all future IT repairs.1. Louis sent me pictures after he took my laptop apart to show the problem in detail, taking time to explain the issue 2. Louis shoppped around for my parts to ensure the best price 3. I have a high spec. tower system with Window 7 O.S. which has worked well for several years but developed a serious fault and could not be recovered from a backup. After a call to Leedham Technologies Louis arrived promptly and soon assessed the problem. Due to the type of fault the only resolution was to reinstall all software to the system (C:) drive and also recover as much data as possible, the remaining drives were not damaged. This was not a small task due to the complexity of my system. Louis worked with interest, continuously, effectively and did not leave until I had a working system.
